Over the last century, the Avila Grocery Store has been a staple on the main street of Avila Beach providing everything from award winning fish & chips and clam chowder to all your beach necessities, toys and novelties. Now under new ownership, The Avila Market in Avila Beach has expanded its operation offering a new menu, an all new beer and wine bar featuring over 30 beers on tap as well as additional seating and a new patio space!

Owners Mark & Jacki Mantel said simply "It was time! It is a great opportunity for us and our customer. To obtain more seating, be able to provide more menu options for our customers and throw in better view of the beach, its a no brainer!"
The little cafe they had occupied on the corner of 1st Street and San Miguel was the second location that they grew out of in an effort to accommodate the demands of Avila Beaches annual visitors. You can now order all your favorite acai bowls and smoothies from the Kravabowl menu at the new restaurant counter.
